How to join South Yorkshire Boat Club

You could also call into our club for a look around any time during bar opening hours at the weekend Saturday & Sunday 12 to 3pm.

 

Your application form must be signed by two members of the boat club and membership fees paid in full.

Along with two forms of identification photo id and address id is required.

 

Once the fees and application form are completed the form will be displayed on the club notice board for a minimum of seven days.

  

You will then be invited for interview with the committee, after which if your application is approved, you will be sent a letter advising you that you have been accepted as a probationary member this lasts six months. You may be able to have a temporary mooring at this stage, dependant on availability, or be placed on our waiting list.

 

After the six month period you will be asked back to meet with the committee again and if successful, a letter will be sent to you advising that you are now a full member.

 

Please note S.Y.B.C. does not have residential moorings or allow residential use of craft moored at S.Y.B.C.

Joining fee of £450.00 each adult member

Annual membership fee of £50.00 per member
